Michelangelo, in bringing forth his own spirit of supreme beauty into form that was denied to him as a gay man, took on the world of corruption (that was always intertwined with politics and religion and had long-since over-stepped the boundaries into degrading the value of even his body, sexuality, and existence) in the most beautiful, heart-wrenching way possible, through the sublime art of his soul and the best his hands could create. He exceeded what was possible of human rendering to break the boundaries of that human hold, into life unbounded, into the astonishing effect of presence in art and overcoming, far, far beyond, through radiance. He overcame control, abuse, life, and death. Acceptance of that life-long punishment is not a willingness of it or a weakness to battle it in taking up arms (which is easy--easy to harm, easy to be harmed, as form is so fragile and impermanent), but instead his was a taking a pressurized internal portal, a forced worm hole, and thus breaking outside into the cosmic surrounding and holding in its arms the staid false presumption of reality of control and domination. Stand in front of his Madonna della Pietà inside the St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican and one will be touched by glory of the staggering eloquent effect upon their own physicalities and internal Beings. Michelangelo delivered the divine--with ultimate compassion.

Thus, what radiates from his art, what radiated from his own Being was delivered as a creation to forever deliver the effect of his actual own cosmic Beingness and his gorgeous, surrendered, loving-beyond-all-else body--blasphemous in that presumption of control of reality (as narcissists certainly won't allow you to speak or be seen or known or have any identity--the spotlight and control must be ALL THEIRS even if they have nothing to say and no door to eternity or to healing).

And so there is a radical difference here in creation:

That which demands to have the starring role, the spotlight to speak, but ultimately has nothing to say but one's own unhealed pain projected instead harmfully as punishment and blame (the history of humanity),

or

That which is coming from a different reality from pain, too, that knows form is impermanent and that humans have been horribly punishing and have to be broken open to stop, and that opens the gate to the divine.

Love isn't control.

Love is holding anything and everything with compassion, beginning with one's own intense pain.

Compassion sees compassion. Hatred cannot see it.

And so there is the aspect of Michelangelo's work that had to defy those concrete wall boundaries of control with his own ceiling, his own cosmic sky.

At the opening of this different expression of the divine Michelangelo painted Jacob's prophecy, Jacob's dying words, the man who had wrestled with the angel for his identity, above the entrance door. It is of Genesis 49:10 (which contains Shiloh's name and both Shiloh Richter & John Mayer's birthdates which were also spoken by Jesus). There is a long list of other wild synchronicities in what the verse contains and on the Sistine Ceiling that only the cosmos could do from Michelangelo's eloquence. Michelangelo then carries out that prophecy across the sky of the ceiling to the white male god pointing at the feminine Moon.

Like Bob and Natasha.

And so here is the Merry Trickster, the Grateful Dead Dancing Bear, on Michelangelo's own Sistine Ceiling that reveals the meaning of the name Shiloh, mentioning several times on the ceiling their names and birthdates, among other wild revelations.

John, Bob, Mickey, and Bill joined Dead and Company for a big reason. It wasn't over for them. It still isn't over, what they are on this earth to do. Something like break through to eternity to culture with music.
